TV faced more lefties in ’09

During the 2009 season Perfectos batters faced more than twice as much left-handed pitching as in the previous season. Why the big difference?

  1. I’m going with matchups…. Off the top of my head…Ryan Howard didn’t hit lefties well in ’09 in the ABL…Either did Utley, Rollins, Hawpe, Davis, and Aramis Ramirez… I think most teams thought pitching a southpaw was a better chance at victory aginast the Perfectos… after reviewing the 2009 Standings…I think it worked 🙂
