Vegas was trying for the jumps in game one—ended up with one SB & one CS. 19 singles in the game, no homers. Brought in Timlin, he walked the first batter, pulled Timlin. (That H symbol!)

Game two was back and forth early. Four homers, three HBP. Blalock made errors on consecutive plays, one a two-base error. Two unearned runs resulted.

Game #1 – Aces wild as Webb gets the nod for the Vipers and Lilly for the Perfectos. Top of the 1st and Titusville gets the scoring going with Blalock singling in Utley, this after a close call at first base got Pujols ejected. 1-0 T-Ville. Top of the 3rd and Utley scores again, this time on a Ryan Howard base hit. 2-0 T-Ville. Bottom of the 4th and the Vipers finally get to Lilly scoring two, highlighted by a Hart leadoff triple. 2-2. Both teams trade zeros for the next three innings. Top of the 8th and after Utley keeps the inning alive with 2-outs, Rollins rips a triple down the line to give the Perfectos a 4-2 lead. Bottom of the 9th and the bullpen of T-Ville tries to shut the door on the Vipers. After a Reynolds leadoff walk, Myers in to pitch. Hardy singles to bring the winning run to the plate with no outs. After two consecutive outs, Sizemore walks to load the bases. Berkman with a chance to be a hero, but instead his knees buckle on a viscious curve and the Perfectos take the opener 4-2.

Game #2 – Shawn Hill gets the start for the Perfectos and James Sheilds for the Vipers. Holliday blasts a deep 2-run HR in the bottom of the 1st for the early 2-0 LV lead. Blalock answers right back with a moon shot of his own in the 2nd to cut the lead in half…2-1LV…Top of the 3rd and the power surge continues as Pat Burrell puts one over the monster giving Titusville the 3-2 lead. Vegas takes the lead right back in the bottom of the inning, scoring three with the help of 4 hits and two consecutive Blalock errors…5-3LV…The proverbial “helps his own cause” was in effect in the 4th as Hill knocks in Ludwick to get it back to a 1-run game. Top of the 5th and Blalock makes it 2 errors and 2 home runs as he hits a 2-run shot this time giving the Perfectos the lead…6-5. Top of the 8th and Titusville extends the lead with a 2-out, bases loaded gcf off the bat of Castro. 8-5 TV. Percival kept the Viper offense in check for the last 2 innings as the Perfectos earn the sweep. Final 8-5.
