As the regular season progressed, it seemed clear that several of the Titusville batters were underperforming. Rollins, Blalock, & Howard were all hovering around the Mendoza line. I counted the IPs of LH/RH pitchers that faced the Perfectos during the ’08 regular season. Lefties started only two of the 36 games, 5.6%. Lefties appeared in 30.6% of the games.
